Chaplin’s award-winning masterpiece, Modern Times, will be screened with the original score played live by the Covent Garden Sinfonia and conducted by Ben Palmer. The event will also include a pre-concert talk by Chaplin’s grandson, Spencer Chaplin.
Modern Times, released in 1936 starring Charlie Chaplin, centres on a luckless factory worker who finds himself so unnerved by trying to cope with modern technology that he ends up institutionalised. From there more mishaps and adventures ensue. It is regarded as one of Chaplin’s most comedic films and one of the last great silent films. Most notably, the film introduced Chaplin’s trademark song “Smile.”

A retreat weekend for adults of all ability levels playing any type of harp at the Peacock Inn in Oxfordshire. The weekend is coached by Keziah alongside Scottish harper Heather Downie and includes learning new music, working on ensemble playing and technique and socialising!

Acclaimed by the New York Concert Review as ‘Stupendous…totally original and engaging’, at her Carnegie Hall debut recital, Harpist Keziah Thomas returns to the beautiful gardens of Gooderstone Water Gardens.
Keziah will be bringing a programme of her own stunning arrangements of popular classical music.
Audience members are invited to arrive from 4.30pm to enjoy the gardens and have a picnic during the performance. Please bring picnic chairs and blankets as there is no seating available. This is an open air concert in the garden.
Harpists aged 11-16 grade 5 and over and invited to the first Menuhin School Summer Course. The course will feature individual lessons, chamber playing, harp ensemble, orchestra and performances. The course is residential and takes place in Surrey but harpists can come as a daytime only student if preferred.
Taking place from Friday 15th to Thursday 21st August 2025, this course is the perfect opportunity for harpists aged 14 to 24 looking to progress into further study or gain fresh inspiration.
Overseen by two highly-accomplished and internationally renowned harp professors from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama - Charlotte Seale, Imogen Barford and Keziah Thomas - the residential course is hosted in a traditional Suffolk farmhouse.
Offering a fun, creative way for harpists to hone their ability, meet other musicians and enjoy both group and private practice time away from the pressures of everyday life. Also included in the cost are delicious home-cooked meals and cozy bedrooms.
The Retreat to the Harp Study Weekend is a boutique retreat for ten harpists taking over Claridge House in Lingfield, Surrey. It is designed for intermediate to advanced level adult harpists of (approximate grade 4+) who wish to work on technique, musicality and performance skills.
The weekend is hosted by Keziah Thomas, an international harpist who has extensive knowledge as a performer and teacher and encourages a positive environment of sharing and learning.
The schedule for the 3-night long weekend will consist of workshops, masterclasses, technique and warming up sessions and each participant will have two individual lessons and time for private practise.

This concert of ‘words and music’ captures the daring days of early aviation, when to be a pilot was a thing of wonder, in an intrepid journey with the daring French aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of Le Petit Prince.
Extracts from the autobiography of the great aviator, are narrated and interwoven with a soundscape from twentieth-century France, from the minimalist chords of Satie to the bright and exquisite world of Ravel; from the exotic flavours of Debussy to the grit and pathos of Montmartre Chanson.

Show up, relax and listen and then have fun learning two tunes on a small lap harp guided by Keziah in partnership with Breath Arts Health Research.
